Workshop Brief
This workshop will explore more experimental LaTeX setups and alternative methods of preparing a LaTeX document that push closer towards bridging the divide between the work we do, and the reports we use to describe it.
Come along to explore what report writing could look like in the future!
The code used in this workshop is as always available for participants, but in contrast to previous code, is highly experimental.
It may cause things to break and is not recommended for uses where code failures can cause anything more than mild annoyance.
This code has also never been tested in environments beyond a Linux system, and while it may be useable in other environments, it shouldn't be assumed that it will.

To participate in the live coding session, all you need is a laptop with internet access!

Presenter
Aaron English is a PhD student in the Department of Electronics at Carleton University. While his research is primarily in fusion and energy technologies, he is enthusiastic about open source tools, reproducible research and literate programming, automation in high quality document preparation, and LaTeX's role in these spaces.
