Join Food Starter and our Food Commercialization Program participants in this Introduction to Usage and Care of Commercial Food Processing Environments led by Conestoga College's Rhonda Gerrits.


This seminar will focus on the options for product scale-up that do not involve purchasing equipment, the importance of equipment compatibility for desirable product outcome, and equipment specifications.


Meet your trainer: Rhonda Gerrits


Rhonda Gerrits is a Food Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science from the University of Guelph, Ontario. Currently she is an instructor and pilot plant technician at the Institute of Food Processing Technology, Conestoga College. Rhonda’s previous work experience is in food safety and regulatory information for food processing companies.
