Join the David Suzuki Foundation and Ecojustice for an interactive, multimedia forum about environmental rights and responsibilities around the world and here at home.


Over the past 50 years, environmental rights have been the fastest-growing body of human rights law internationally. We have a historic opportunity to ensure everyone in Canada has the right to a healthy environment. Come find out how!


The afternoon will feature excerpts from Green Rights, a new documentary film by Silver Donald Cameron, as well as stories and performances from guest speakers and environmental heroes.


Guest speakers include:

  • Mike Harcourt, former Premier of B.C.
  • Silver Donald Cameron, writer, filmmaker, and journalist


Performance by:

Aluma Sound, a blend of electronic and eclectic, harmonies and poetry, Anjali Appadurai and Rup Sidhu are community organizers, artists and activists.


Following a Q & A, participants are invited to join a reception with a cash bar (ATM onsite), complimentary appetizers and live music.
