It's holiday time again! Join us for some tips, recipes and easy ways to enjoy the holidays.

About this event

Come join our Parent Support Group and meet other parents on a similar journey to yours in the Guelph/Wellington County area. LDAWC parent support group’s goal is to provide an informal setting to share experiences, challenges, successes and resources. Living, learning and/or working with a LD, or supporting a family member with LD, has its ups and downs. Come learn from others.

Benefits are:

• Learning about relevant resources, supports and strategies

• Insights into what has and hasn’t worked for parents and families

• Learning you and your student aren’t alone through shared ideas and experiences

Organizer of LDAWC-Monday, December 13, 2021- Virtual Parent Support Group

The Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County (LDAWC) started in 1973 with Nene Lott, now a lifetime member, as its first president. The Association continues to be a grass roots organization which relies on volunteers to carry out its many functions.  LDAWC is a charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities so that they can reach their full potential. Through outreach, education, advising and advocacy, the Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County's mandate is to advance the education, employment, social development legal rights and general wellbeing of individuals with learning disabilities.
