Course Facilitators: Peter Dickens, PhD and Sarah Patterson, MDiv
Leadership and spiritual formation should be highly integrated. Leadership is a spiritually formative experience and continuing spiritual formation is essential for building a foundation for Christian leadership. This course will intentionally bring leadership and spiritual formation closer together, through complementary sessions. Peter Dickens, Director of the Tyndale Leadership Centre, will focus on a biblical understanding of leadership and how each leader has been created uniquely for its joys, challenges and the never-ending changes leadership demands. Sarah Patterson, a trained Spiritual Director and DMin candidate will focus on helping leaders develop an awareness of how they are forming spiritually while they lead and she will provide an introduction to and practice of a number of different spiritual disciplines that help leaders remain connected to God.

Tyndale Leadership Centre
The Tyndale Leadership Centre reflects this philosophy as we develop, enrich, and support Christian leaders. With a research-based strategy, we offer a personalized experience in our solutions and delivery methods, implementing a collaborative and servant-leadership approach. Through the centre you will encounter a community of fellow leaders who journey together, striving to learn what it means to be a leader that represents Christ in today's culture. Together, with professionally trained leadership facilitators, coaches, and spiritual directors, you will discuss and deliberate the implications of being a servant-based leader.
