About this event

Today’s business leaders operate in an increasingly diverse and dynamic world. Social media prevalence, shifting values, wider ranging demographics, and increasingly polarized attitudes place new and powerful demands on leaders and their organizations. This is particularly so in the event of a breaking issue or a crisis, when effective communication to key audiences is most critical.

Reliance Insurance Agencies is pleased to invite you to a breakfast forum to hear from two of B.C.’s most accomplished crisis communications and media relations advisors. Topics discussed over the course of the forum will include:

  • Crisis communications today – what’s new, and why
  • The media environment in 2022
  • How to ensure your organization is prepared to communicate – and manage reputational risk – in the event a crisis strikes
  • Examples of crisis cases and scenarios.

Reliance has secured two highly-respected and experienced communicators to deliver this session for our valued clients. Representing the Vancouver office of global agency FleishmanHillard HighRoad:

Jackie Asante is a senior vice president with more than 25 years of communication experience. In addition to being one of western Canada’s most highly sought-after media and presentation training specialists, Jackie has led the development of countless crisis plans and delivered multiple crisis training sessions and simulations.

Mark Reder is a senior vice president and senior partner with more than 25 years of communications and public affairs experience. Mark has been on the front lines of some of Canada’s largest and most high-profile projects, issues, and crises working with senior executives and Boards as well as a multitude of stakeholders.

We look forward to welcoming you to this informative and instructive breakfast forum. Seating is limited so we encourage RSVPs at your earliest convenience.
