Event Details

Community Development Council Durham (CDCD) is proud to host Leading Durham: Building Our Collective Impact on Housing and Homelessness.  With the recent release of the draft Durham Housing Plan 2014-2024, it is a critical time for us to determine how we can collectively achieve our four goals of ending homelessness, creating affordable rent, building strong and vibrant neighbourhoods, and offering greater housing choice.  The purpose of this conference is to build upon the knowledge and experiences of our community towards an understanding of the collective impact we can achieve in addressing housing and homelessness issues in Durham Region.  Please join us for a full-day conference, featuring the launch of a new community web site, a panel of community experts from diverse fields, and a guided faciltiation by Tamarak Institute on the ‘collective impact’ model of community development.

*For more information, please contact Vanessa Bilenduke (vbilenduke@cdcd.org) or Jaclyn San Antonio (jsanantonio@cdcd.org) or call (905)-686-2661 (ext. 117).
