Event description

Description

Join us for a conversation with Frank Iacobucci examining Canada’s past, present and future relationship with Aboriginal peoples.

The Hon. Frank Iacobucci retired from the Supreme Court of Canada in 2004 and served as interim President of U of T from September 2004 until June 2005. On July 1, 2005, he joined Torys LLP as Counsel and has served on a number of boards. He was the Federal Government’s representative in the negotiations leading to the settlement agreement in 2005 relating to Indian Residential Schools, which is the largest financial settlement in Canada.

The discussion will be moderated by Annamaria Enenajor, an alumna of the University of Toronto and 2002 W. Garfield Weston Loran Scholar. Ms. Enenajor is a criminal defence lawyer at Ruby & Shiller.

Twenty-first century challenges require leaders who act with integrity, social purpose and entrepreneurial drive. Presented by Trinity College and the Loran Scholars Foundation, the Leading With Integrity Speaker Series features Canadian leaders who share their experiences, insights and ideas on this theme.
