LEAF's annual Equality Day Gala is our largest and most important event - the funds raised directly support our work to advance equality rights.

On May 31st, 2022, we'll welcome hundreds of LEAF supporters to the Globe & Mail Centre for a cocktail reception. We'll share a wonderful evening of cocktails and culinary delights with members of the legal, feminist, academic, activist, corporate, and labour communities. The event will be hosted by Supriya Dwivedi.

As part of realizing its vision of substantive gender equality rights in Canada, LEAF has decided to transition from celebrating Persons Day to celebrating Equality Day in April each year. We are looking forward to this new chapter, and we are proud to be an intersectional feminist organization.

We will be implementing COVID-safety measures in accordance with Toronto Public Health recommendations. There will also be an outdoor space available for attendees to use.
