Event Details

On December 9-10th, the biggest names in the Lean Startup world and a slew of entrepreneurs will gather at The Lean Startup Conference in San Francisco.

Join Ramp Up Manitoba to watch, learn and discuss how to be more innovative, use people’s time better, and be more successful.

The Lean Startup Conference (LSC) in San Francisco brings together innovators from startups and established companies alike to share lessons for building profitable businesses.

LSC costs $900+ to register for alone, before flights and hotels, and it's not a publicly broadcasted conference.

This year, you can attend Day 1 & 2 of the conference here in Winnipeg for free.

The Lean Startup Conference Edmonton simulcast is open, and welcome to members, entrepreneurs, students and the general public.  Everyone is welcome. We have a wide variety of attendees from diverse industry backgrounds and experience.

Location:

125 Adelaide St, 3rd floor (Ramp Up Manitoba Startup Space).  The room will be equipped with desk, power and wifi so you can get some work done during the day too.

Schedule:

We'll tune in live to the livestream, at 10:00 and take breaks when the conference does. This year's conference is over two days and as such it's good to familiarize yourself with the day's schedule.

The schedule is released and available at: http://leanstartup.co/program

Guarantee your seat:

The room does have a capacity, so seats are first come first served - please reserve your seat while you're here.

What to bring:

Bring a notebook to write in for sure, and your laptop/tablet if you like.  Come for part of the day, or all of it.  It's a great chance to connect, catch up, and hangout afterwards. When a schedule becomes available it will be shared and posted.

The Speakers:

This year's list of speakers looks great:

  • Cindy Alvarez - Microsoft
  • Marc Andressen - Andressen & Horowitz
  • Kent Beck - Facebook
  • Steve Blank
  • Alistair Croll - Lean Analytics
  • Laura Fennell - Intuit
