7 WEEK COURSES | $255 + HST (INCLUDES ONE 3 HOUR CLASS PER WEEK FOR 7 WEEKS)

Wednesdays 6 PM – 9 PM | Starts February 13

In this course, UNB and Ryerson graduate Olivia Parker will teach you how to utilize and understand the tools of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create a variety of print-ready documents. Olivia, a print specialist, will introduce you to some of the tips and tricks of the trade including: basic graphic design skills and terminology, where to find copyright free photos, and how to create the pieces that will define your brand. If you’ve ever wanted to edit photos, create a logo, design a postcard or brochure, then this is the class for you. In an age of self-marketing and self-promotion this course in priceless!

MATERIAL COST: $20.00 (Please bring, USB/External Hard Drive, personal content to work on ie: text, pictures, photos, drawings, and a notebook.)

Instructor: Olivia Parker

Olivia Parker (B.Tech., MPC, B.Ed.) is a graphic design and print professional with over a decade of experience in the trade. Having completed a Bachelor of Technology from the School of Graphic Communications Management at Ryerson University, Olivia is uniquely qualified to teach graphic design and the fundamentals of how it integrates into a production environment. She has worked at Taylor Printing Group Inc. in Fredericton for the past eight years in a variety of areas including graphic design, package design, prepress production, mail production, printing, and finishing.

What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before your events start date. After that a special request will need to be made to the organizer.

Upon cancellation of the workshops due to low enrollement or extenuating circumstance a full refund will be granted.

What happens if a class is cancelled?

If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, or another unfortunate circumstance, every attempt will be made to notify participants in advance. Participants will be notified of the rescheduled class time during their next session, or by phone or email.

Where do I park?

Parking for courses offered at the college follows city of Fredericton parking by-laws. There is no charge for public parking in the downtown area after 5 p.m. on weekdays, and parking is free on weekends.
