Prerequisites for most Canadian government funding:
● Incorporated in Canada for at least 2 years
● Financially stable
● Not a retailer/distributor
● Not a start-up
● Company must manufacture or conduct R&D in Canada

The Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) have launched the highly anticipated CME SMART Prosperity Now grant for Southern Ontario manufacturers. Businesses can apply for up to $75,000 or 33% project costs related to purchasing new and used equipment. Projects must be completed within 12 months.
Eligible project topics include:
- New Market Development
- Commercialization
- Expansion to global markets
- Investments in sustainable and gree technology
- Productivity enhancements to improve exprot market access
