Chef Mandy is the Executive Chef at the Red Accordion - where she cooks elevated comforting classics with a west coast-meets Italian flair. Chef Mandy will teach simple methods to prepare two beautiful & nutritious lamb recipes at home.
This seminar will feature simple & healthy preparation methods for two delicious cuts of lamb. You’ll learn the nutrition facts of lamb, why it’s a healthy source of protein & become familiar with lamb quality indicators. You’ll learn about common terms like grass-fed, free-range, hormones & GMOS and how they impact the taste & flavor of the lamb.

Presenter: Chef Mandy Finley-Chiarenza
It all started in the treehouse that her father built for her in the backyard of her childhood home in the small town of Port Colborne, Ontario. Her imagination would run wild and she would be selling meat pies made out of mud and grass to patrons in a restaurant that she built using her imagination. Some 25 years later, Executive Chef Mandy Finley-Chiarenza now serves up elevated, product driven comfort food inside the little red house, The Red Accordion, located in Vancouver's West End.
Mandy graduated from the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver in 2010 and has worked her way through several restaurants, ultimately honing her skills preparing her for the role that she is in today. With a diverse culinary background, Mandy is known to be extremely creative when it comes to her dishes and loves to use ingredients from all over the world. Her passion for food and creating recipes that no one has thought of, is one of her strongest attributes and has kept patrons of The Red Accordion wanting more. Mandy mentions that every meal that she creates reflects the product, her emotions and and her values as a female chef, mentor, and colleague; "Ultimately you're getting my heart and my mind."
Mandy states that The Red Accordion family recently celebrated their two year anniversary and they're just getting warmed up! It's a magical place and if you haven't been yet, I hope you visit us soon!
