Description

Event Description

In this beginner-level workshop, unleash your inner crochet artist by learning the basics of crochet. This class will introduce you to many foundational techniques, such as making the slipknot, starting chain, and single crochet stitch in order to make a small scarf or neck-warmer. Hook, yarn, and needle will be included in the price of the ticket for this class. Note that the project will not be finished by the end of the class, but a good work-in-progress will be underway.

Workshop Mentor Profile

Tara loves to express her creativity in three dimensions. She features many of her projects on alwaysbecozy.com and also does custom orders. She loves to share her knowledge of crochet with others, as it is a great way to stitch away stress and make useful, handmade items.

Audience

Beginners with little or no previous crochet experience. Recommended for teens and up. Instruction will be offered in English by a bilingual instructor.

The Take-home Kit Includes:

Hook, needle, and yarn will be provided and included in the cost of the workshop. Attendees will crochet their own small scarf or neck-warmer (to be completed after the workshop has finished).
