Let's dive into a mixed media painting class! Suitable for all skill levels and ages 16 and up!! Join us as we create a beautiful abstract painting!

This exciting art workshop will challenge you to re-purpose an old painting into a new work of art. Without any pre-planned designs we will dive right in exploring cold wax and oil painting techniques. If you are having any difficulties I am only a short email away!!

Please note: This workshop uses oil paints and cold wax medium. If you are using acrylic you will not be able to use cold wax as these two products do not mix. However you can paint oil and cold wax over an old (fully dry) acrylic painting. And there is a new product that is similar to cold wax but made for use with acrylics called PowerWax. Check your local art supply store for availability.

Your instructor will be using oil paints. You will receive a recommended materials list in your confirmation email upon registration. This class is provided at a reduced cost. Please support your local artists.

These workshops are shown here with a scheduled time; however you can do these anytime and pause the video at any point during your class. This means you can do this workshop any time that suits your schedule.
