Learn to Play: MTG with Avatar Jumpstart

Come learn to play Magic: the Gathering! Whether you know a little bit or basically nothing, or just need a chance to increase your confidence, we'd love to have you join us.

Jumpstart is the perfect format for learning. You'll take two random packs, shuffle them together, and you've got a deck ready to play! We'll start with some basic rules and strategy, then get you playing games with your Jumpstart deck in some very casual matches, with dedicated support to help answer questions as they arise and provide advice as desired.

Not interested in being a table tutor, but still planning to come along with someone new? Please do! Just be prepared for extremely casual games with a lot of table-talk, helping people remember their triggers, and allowing folks to change their mind about what they play and in what order.
