The first masterpiece any artist ever made was a scribble! Karly Kulpa & Christina Hamer believe that everyone is an artist. They bind books from reused papers to spark that childhood creativity of scribbling on scraps that once burned in all of us.

We have always been, and will forever be, inspired by what others have left behind. Garage sales entrance us, antique malls romance us, and don’t even get us started on how much we love school recycle bins! Photos, books, letters, stories, drawings, maps, music, and on and on! Miraculous little treasures, open to interpretation yet at the same time all with very distinct identities and histories. Our curiosity for these artifacts blends with our creative practice through book binding.
