Event Details

Dogs must be muzzled if they have punctured another dog or person. Dogs must be 7 months and older by class start. This class is designed for dogs of all sizes.

This Bite-sized class is just like the regular Leash Reactivity class except there is a limit of 4 dogs in the class. This allows for more one-on-one instruction and more space for more sensitive dogs.

The first class is full of important behavioural information, SO PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS TO THE FIRST CLASS!

This class is a must for every dog owner with a leash reactive dog! Over the course of 6 weeks, we will work on building the dogs’ confidence and/or self control around other dogs while on leash. We will be utilizing scientifically proven, positive reinforcement based methods to modify all types of reactivity whether it stems from fear, guarding, or frustration. There is no off-leash component to this class. Depending on the weather, class may be held outside.

If you adopted your dog from the Edmonton Humane Society, you receive a 30% discount on 6-week group training classes! Please call 780-491-3888 or email askthespecialist@edmontonhumanesociety.com to receive the code.

To receive the discount you MUST enter the code at time of registration.
