Leaside Area Girls Softball League

EARLY REGISTRATION for the 2023 season.

The Leaside Area Girls Softball League is gearing up for summer 2023!

Registration fee is $245.00 per player.

Register in the Ticket Information field above.

 

Age Groups

The following is the anticipated break out of the three age divisions:

  • Mites (Birth Year 2013-2015)
  • PeeWee (Birth Year 2010-2012) 
  • Senior  (Birth Year June 30, 2005-2009)

Sorry, all players must be 19 years old or less.

Please ensure you select the correct age group when registering.

Locations and Times

      Mites

  • Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6:00 – 8:30 pm
  • Saturday mornings 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • Usually 1, up to 2 games per week at Bessborough

      PeeWee

  • A mix of Monday thru Saturday evenings 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (and Sunday mornings 10-12:00pm)
  • Some late games 8:15 pm - 10:00 pm possible, but we try to avoid late games for PeeWee age.
  • Usually 1-3 games per week at Leaside (or possibly Wigmore) Park

      Senior

  • A mix of Monday thru Saturday evenings 8:15 pm - 10:00 pm (and Sunday noon to 2pm)
  • Some early games 6:00pm - 8:00 pm possible
  • Usually 1-3 games per week at Leaside Park

Dates

  • The league will run from approximately May 1st thru late June. 

Coaching and Support

  • Many hands make light work!
  • Volunteers are needed for coaching and other activities.  If you are able to volunteer as Coach or Asst. Coach, please let us know on the registration form.

Equipment

  • The league will supply all jerseys and equipment, except for gloves and shoes.
  • Mouthguards are recommended and are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
  • Additional equipment related to health and safety measures may be requested (for example - mandatory batting gloves)
