Event description

Description

Once a year, 450 of the world’s most inspiring innovators and influencers go off-the-grid – together.

This year, we're welcoming the legal innovation community from around the world to join us around the campfire at Fireside to take a weekend-long deep dive into some of the hot button topics in legal innovation:

  1. Cloud-based / SaaS solutions for Law Firms/Legal Departments;
  2. Privacy and Data Security;
  3. Legal Operations Management;
  4. Blockchain in Legal Solutions;
  5. AI in Legal Technology;
  6. Access to Justice Solutions; and
  7. Investments and Acquisitions in the Legal Innovation Space.

As the legal industry changes, the opportunity is ripe for passionate legal professionals and innovative industry leaders to create and develop new solutions for the provision of legal services and an increase in access to justice for the greater community.

We have spent too much time discussing these issues around a boardroom table. Let's share our collective visions for the future of the legal industry at Fireside.

About Fireside

Escape. Engage. Ignite.

Since 2015, Fireside has been whisking some of the brightest minds in the world to a place where you can connect to the earth while shooting for the stars: Camp Walden Canada.

Fireside fosters learning, engagement and inclusivity through a mix of structured sessions and unforgettable social interactions. Workshops and keynotes take place around campfires, in the woods and by the lake. Informal gatherings have the intimacy, authenticity and spark that is only possible when exceptional people get together in nature.

Invitation only but open to all.

From millionaires and dropouts to mayors and musicians, Firesiders run the gamut. Our alumni are entrepreneurs, investors, influencers, professionals, students and everything in between.

Who are we looking for? People who give everything they have to make the weekend unforgettable and life-altering for us all. Our participants are willing to learn, teach and (ad)venture outside their comfort zone.

There is no “typical” Firesider. If you think this is the place for you, we welcome you to apply and join.

When is it? The Fireside Conference 2019 takes place September 5-8.

Where is it? The conference occurs at one of the most beautiful camp properties in the world. Near Bancroft, Ontario, Canada, Camp Walden is located on a 750-acre site with two private lakes surrounded by groves of Red Pine and Maple trees.

Fireside Passes are all-inclusive of:

  • All conference sessions and activities (subject to availability at the time of registering);
  • All food, snacks, and beverages (including full open bar and non-alcoholic drinks);
  • All available camp activities (including yoga, waterskiing, sports, etc); and
  • A collection of Fireside gear.

There are no additional fees once onsite at Fireside.
