What is a "Salon" you ask?

The French Salon, a product of The Enlightenment in the early 18th century, was a key institution in which women played a central role. Salons provided a place for people to congregate for intellectual discourse.

In 2017, I went to Sam Sullivan's Public Salon and was riveted by the format. The evening featured 5 speakers from various walks of life speaking about something they were passionate about.

So...I invite you to "Les Grandes Dames Salon" Virtual Edition

I've gathered 7 babes to speak about what they are obsessed with at this moment.

WHEN: Sunday, May 17
TIME: "Doors" to Zoom open at 6:45PM PST • Speakers at 7PM
WHERE: Online via Zoom.

COST: Just your time + a good attitude.

FORMAT:
Each speaker will have 8 minutes to speak about a topic they are passionate about.

After each talk, each speaker will be allotted 2 minutes for discussion, Q&A, etc.

I want to create a space for womxn to talk openly, wildly and boldly.

I can't wait to introduce you to the babes who'll be speaking - the cool thing about being virtual is I can work with people from outside of Vancouver!
