Level up Tech: Microsoft Excel for Young Adults

Participants must be eligible for a Toronto Public Library card.
Participants must be ages 18-24 and identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour)
Excel skills are essential for the modern workplace and foundational for many career pathways Level Up Tech: Microsoft Excel for Young Adults is a course offered as a Learning Circle for young adults aged 18-25 who self-identify as a member of the BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Colour) community.
Online sessions include:
Monday evening, 6:30-8pm
Learn how to enter, format and organize data, perform basic calculations, build charts and prepare yourself Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) 2016 certification. MOS Certification voucher provided free for participants.
Over the ten weeks, participants will learn about different career paths in the tech industry, build relationships with other learners, and receive one-on-one career support coaching by professionals.
Learning circles at the library are study groups guided by staff for people who want to take a free online course together in a welcoming space. Learners meet weekly in a supportive environment. Limited spots are available online.
