WORSHIP CONCERT

The Levite Summit will conclude on Saturday with Hear the Music Night, a worship concert led by Juno nominee & Covenant Award winning Christian recording artist, Jon Buller and the fantastic Hear The Music Band. If you attend the CHOIR workshop for VOCALISTS you’ll have an opportunity to sing on stage at the concert! Hear the Music Night is the perfect opportunity for people to explore faith in an environment that is exciting, accessible, inclusive and filled with inspiring music. And we think it will be an amazing conclusion to this year’s Summit!

PRE CONFERENCE SONGWRITING WORKSHOP

This was a big hit in 2017 and we’re thrilled to offer it again! For a small additional fee, come early to learn from award winning producer, writer and conference speaker ROY SALMOND as well as a chance to hear from other professional songwriters all afternoon! Your lunch will be provided. Space is LIMITED for this workshop, so don't wait to register - last year it was sold out!

WORKSHOP SESSIONS

There are aspects of arts and faith that affect every one of us. All of the sessions are planned to bring learning, discussion and a deeper look at the arts, music, worship and leadership. This year there will be SIX TRACKS. Select a track below to have priority seating in those sessions. If you select the GENERAL TRACK you can attend any session in any track, but you will not have priority seating. DON'T WORRY though. Because of the track registration system in place we are able to plan accordingly for the space required for each session, and thus we rarely have problems accommodating everyone. Also, we are making every effort to record the sessions and recordings are provided free of charge to all registrants, in case you miss a session that you really wanted to hear.

Please visit http://levitesummit.com/#about for more specific info on what each track involves!

There’s also quiet space for reflection and confidential prayer ministry if you need some solitude or soul-care. It’s going to be a rich and diverse time of creativity and learning, a weekend you won’t want to miss!

“Hear the Music Ministries” is hosting this multi-denominational gathering assisted by a group of local churches and Christian ministries including Trinity church, Willow Park church and Metro church. At our core is the belief that when Jesus is lifted up, He will draw all people to Himself (John 12:32).

FAQ's

Q Why do I have to register for a track?

One of the biggest pieces of feedback we've received at the Summit is requests from people to be able to sign-up for the sessions they wanted to attend. This also helps us to make sure there will be space in each session for you to attend your choice of workshop. We believe this also facilitates the best learning experience as the tracks are being designed to provide both practical learning, but also application through the ‘doing’ of your art form. So we strongly encourage you to select a track, and attend the 2 out of 3 workshops that are in that track. The third workshop block for those who select tracks will be your GENERAL ELECTIVE, selected from any of the remaining workshops. If you don’t feel that you fit into a track, you can select GENERAL TRACK and attend whatever workshop you want! ELECTIVES are first-come-first-serve, and TRACK WORKSHOPS will give priority to those who are in that TRACK. Remaining space in those workshops is open to any registrant.

Q Do I have to register for the Levite Summit if I want to attend the Pre-Conference Songwriting Workshop?
In a word, yes. We don't think you'll want to miss the rest of the opportunities at Levite Summit after attending this workshop!

Q Is space limited for the Pre-Conference Songwriting Workshop?
VERY limited as we believe this will facilitate the best learning experience in both the teaching and practical aspects.

Q Is there an age limit to enter the event?
There are no limits! We welcome everyone at the Levite Summit, but if you are under 18 you will need your parents permission. However, this year we are thrilled to partner with Youth Alpha Canada and Jason Ballard to bring students a track designed just for them! This track will focus on combining leadership and music and provide resources to help students reach their peers for Christ. If you’re a student or you know someone who is, they should be registered in this track! There are no child rates, as much of the content of the conference will be aimed at 16+.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
We'd love to hear from you at info@levitesummit.com. Please contact our office and not Trinity Church, as that is our venue but they might not be able to answer all your questions!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please either bring your printed ticket, or have the email confirmation ready to present on your smartphone. Without these we can still help you, but it will slow down the registration process.

Q Can I cancel my registration?

A Registrations can be cancelled up to two weeks before the conference for a $20 processing fee, and cannot be accepted after that time. However, registrations are transferable anytime, even upon arrival at the event, for a $10 processing fee. Thank you for understanding that last minute changes increase administration time and complexity for the administrative staff.
