Description

This workshop for service providers explores how family violence can impact LGBTQ people in families of origin, and in romantic relationships. It provides information about affirming language related to gender and sexual diversity, and provides opportunities to explore case-studies related to overcoming barriers that can exist in social service organizations.

This session, co-delivered by the Pride Centre of Edmonton and the Today Family Violence Help Centre, is funded by Alberta's Family & Community Safety Grants program.



When: November 22, 9AM - 12PM
Where: The Pride Centre of Edmonton 10618 105 avenue. We are located on the second floor
Accessibility: Our centre has two entrances, 10618 and 10610. the 10610 entrance has a pull through lift that will bring you to the second floor. We also have an accessible washroom.
Cost: Fees for this training are covered by the Alberta Family and Community Safety Grant
