About this Event

This session will review how to effectively use a variety of databases for patents and standards research. Topics include an overview of the advanced Scopus features and functions, such as journal analytics and metrics, author profile, research trends, PlumX metrics, alerts, and export citations to Mendeley and other programs. We will compare Google Scholar and Scopus, and demonstrate how to set up off-campus access to full-text publications in Google Scholar. Please bring your laptop with you if you wish to follow along! Part of UNB Libraries GEAR (Graduate Essentials for Academic Research).
