Life Coaching Schema Workshop.
Schema is a coaching technique of Applied Metapsychology. It guides the client to create a plan of action for putting order into a specific, perhaps difficult, area of life. It can also address one’s entire life, enhancing the client’s ability to achieve major goals.
Viewing sessions (TIR or LSR) help a client to release emotional distress and resolve problems. However, when the mental and emotional barriers have been reduced, some clients still require support to plan goals and new behaviour patterns. Applied Metapsychology provides TIR facilitators with a person-centered coaching technique, which could be called Schema Coaching, but is often referred to as Schema Work, or simply as Schema. Schema is structured and efficient in helping individuals sort out undesirable situations in one or more areas of life. Schema uses a particular framework and person-centered communication to help the client examine an undesirable situation, decide what needs to change, and then create an action plan to bring about the change.
As in other Applied Metapsychology workshops, students apply what is learned by doing. Students use the coaching model and tools to help each other develop a schema plan for some area of their own lives.
