Topics:
Lightboard Equipment and Setup – Topics such as: Lighting, monitors, cameras, camera settings, laptops, backdrop, monitor stands, filters, markers, microphones, tent, erasing, cleaning, etc.
Zoom, OBS Studio and Logitech Capture – Topics such as: Flipping your camera view, scenes and sources, image slide shows, screen and window capture, colour-key and chroma-key, hotkeys, and other useful OBS tips and tricks. The use of Logitech Capture to get up and running quickly will also be discussed. The use of other virtual meeting and presenting platforms such as MS Teams will also be mentioned.
Teaching and Presenting – Tips and tricks for presenting using a lightboard, using polls, showing YouTube videos, ‘stage-presence’, and suggestions for hybrid delivery (presenting with some audience members/students in-person and some virtual – this training session will be delivered using this technique!).

Novice lightboard users or anyone primarily interested in the equipment setup is encouraged to attend the event in-person. In-person attendance is also suggested for anyone interested in learning about hybrid presenting. More experienced users may prefer the convenience of virtual attendance.
