Lightroom Photo Editing Intensive - November 19, 2016
Sat, 19 November 2016, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM MST
Neil is offering Lightroom CC Editing training in a one-day intensive workshop that will take you from simply starting out to confidently editing your images. His step by step workflow is easy to understand and will give you the tools to make the best of your photography. Neil teaches on his own nine foot wide, high resolution screen to best guide you in all aspects of this course.
The images you take in your camera are similar to undeveloped film and your best work isn’t shown until once you’ve developed the photo. You are only half done when you shoot your photo in camera! Lightroom is a play on words from the old film developing ‘darkroom’.
You are required to be using the current version of Lightroom CC, and is available as a subscription for $9.99 US$ per month. This photographers software package includes Adobe Photoshop included at that same price. You will use your own images as well as supplied images to edit/manage during the workshop. Lightroom CC is available as a full function 30 day trial. If you wish to take the course using the trial, please do NOT download the software until closer to the workshop so you have time after the workshop to evaluate the software once you have been trained.

Each participant is required to have their own computer. Laptop and desktop computers are welcome as we have the space and ability to host your desktop if that is your main lightroom computer.
The Lightroom workshop will be broken up into 4 parts through the day, with time allotted for practical editing. Lightroom is an incredibly powerful photo organizer and a good portion of the morning session will be spent on making sure you are able to import, store, manage and FIND your photos as your cataloge grows over the years.
Your day starts at 8:30m and will run until 6:00pm with breaks and lunch scheduled in.
