Lindon Carter
West Coast native Lindon Carter began writing sad country and Americana style music only recently, intending for other artists to sing his songs. However, now living in Edmonton for over seven years, constantly inspired by local solo artists, Lindon felt it was the right time to embark on his very own solo project. Known for fronting and touring across Canada with the band Carter & the Capitals, he has taken a deep dive into recording live off the floor, aiming to capture an honest performance in place of perfection. That all being said, Lindon still makes room for some lively rock and roll with his new project.
Mallory Chipman
Mallory Chipman is an award-winning singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer from Treaty Six Territory in Canada. A true raconteuse, Chipman is revered for the way she artfully weaves story into song and expresses both power and vulnerability through her music.
Genre knows know bounds within her catalogue, as she seamlessly traverses styles including folk, jazz, country, pop, rock, and experimental music. Alongside her solo folk music project, Chipman plays with art-rock band, Mallory Chipman & the Mystics, and alt-country outfit, The Goddamsels.
Tyson Ray Borsboom
Canadian singer/songwriter Tyson Ray Borsboom has created intricate portraits of love and life in the modern world using little more than his trusted acoustic guitar for accompaniment. Between his inspired songwriting describing loss, redemption and his charismatic live performances, it won't be long before he is recognized in the national indie music scene. After spending years honing his craft, Tyson has recorded an EP, LP and a number of singles, with a plethora of different talented producers/engineers. Catching the attention of folk music fans across Canada and opening for artists such as Field Guide , Craig Cardiff , Mike Edel and Okay Mann.
Teaming up with Phenix Warren in early 2022, a multi-talented artist, producer and engineer (working with the likes of Heather May and Wyatt C. Louis) they began working on a four singles leading into an upcoming EP released in summer 2022). This new wave of singles with Phenix will represent a new birth for Tyson into a new sound for this up and coming indie folk musician.
Salty Auntie
On a mission to uncover life’s subtleties through her music, Salty Aunty is fond of songs that are able to reflect on bittersweet circumstances with a light heart. Through her simple, yet intentional lyrics, she is able to craft an emotional picture for her audiences to delve into.
Currently studying composition of Jazz and Contemporary Popular music at MacEwan University, her sound is reflective of these influences. Salty Aunty’s songs range from sweet tunes about road trips to groovy works focused on her coming of age experience.
Composing her first documented piece at age three titled, “Why Is Your Room A Pig Sty”; it is apparent that music has played a large part in Salty Aunty’s life from a young age. Recent works include her soon to be released “Little White Car” and “A Saint”. She is influenced by the likes of Big Thief, The Brook & The Bluff, and Hayley Heynderickx.
