Wed, 19 October 2016, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM PDT
Lindsay is coming back to Two Eagles Lodge this fall!
Lindsay May, singer-songwriter, returns to Two Eagles Lodge for another intimate house concert experience. Lindsay plays the guitar and mandolin and entrances audiences with her story-telling songs and beautiful, crisp voice.
Come hear about Lindsay’s world travelling adventures… as she performs her songs acoustically from her three albums and new songs she has been woodshedding. Make reservations early as her last event sold out quickly.
Please bring a dessert or appy to share, and your beverage of choice. Coffee and tea provided. Donations for the food bank collection box are encouraged and appreciated, as well.

Here’s what other house concerts hosts have to say about Lindsay May:
November, 2015 - "Lindsay has a truly great voice which is a perfect fit for the bluesy songs she performed for us, especially during the 2nd set of her show. In the end, the audience didn't want to let her go and asked for several encores. On top, she is a communicative person which makes it easy to have her around."
(C. Piesgrandes, Concerts In Your Home host Germany)
November, 2015 - "Lindsay is a charming and heart-winning singer, changing the colours of her voice a lot and thus creating an intense atmosphere. Especially her blues driven songs are very touching. Poeple loved her voice and her funny way of entertaining. She is such a nice person to have around, we all enjoyed her company so much we almost wouldn't let her go!"
(A. Paluch, Concerts In Your Home host Germany)
Lindsay May is an acoustic guitar and mandolin wielding songstress with itchy feet and alternating zip codes. A prolific songwriter with a direct connection to her muse, Lindsay wrote enough material for her and Mark Gordon to record and produce two americana/alt-country albums at once. Her second and third albums. Folks says she sounds like a mix of k.d.lang, Kathleen Edwards, Alison Krauss and Lucinda Williams and Linda Rondstadt. And most recently, Margo Timmins (Cowboy Junkies, crossed with Janis Joplin.)
Both albums were recorded at Vancouver's Nimbus recording studios in 2011/2012. The first album 'Shimmer', was released in March 2012 to a Grade A- review form the Vancouver Province. The second, Girl with Grit - an album about not giving up - was released January 2014 followed by a three month tour across Canada during the most frigid winter in 30 years. It ended in late March with a NERFA showcase in New Jersey and a trip of a lifetime drive home through the US and then back up into Canada.... and once home, an incredibly long nap.
Lindsay has toured extensively. 2014 saw her criss-cross North America from New Jersey back to British Columbia and 2015 was highlighted by a month in Germany and the Netherlands.
She has been asked back every time...
