StoryMusic is the brainchild of violist, writer and artistic director Liza Scriggins, who was inspired by Disney’s Fantasia as well as Ann Rachlin’s Musical Adventures to create stories to accompany chamber music. Based in Calgary, Alberta, StoryMusic has performed for hundreds of children in schools, immigrant service centres and libraries, and released its first album in 2022. Find out more at

From Alberta to Africa, the Green Fools have been fostering circus and theatre since 1991. Co-founded by Artistic Director Dean Bareham, the Green Fools are passionate circus educators, entertainers, and artists. In the last five years, the Fools have impacted over 14,000 kids through their circus programs and new circus school Studio G, which develop confidence and social skills. Over 1,100 of those kids received free programming. They have also performed children’s theatre and street performances across the globe. The Green Fools also create unique event entertainment with their custom costumes, circus artists, stilt walkers, and more. The mission is simple: changing the world one kid at a time.
