About this event
About the performers:
Alex McCulloch is a singer-songwriter from Scarborough, Ontario. Her debut solo album, produced by Juno-award winning artists Dave Ritter (The Strumbellas) and John Dinsmore (NQ Arbuckle, Donovan Woods) is currently in production and is slated for release in 2022. With raw, confessional lyricism and powerful vocals, Alex McCulloch’s music follows in the tradition of classic North American songwriting. Alex has honed her sound in venues across Ontario. This has seen her perform at Canadian Music Week, Indie Week and in venues such as the Horseshoe Tavern, the Opera House and the Silver Dollar Room.
Zack Elliott is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter based out of Bolton, Ontario. Through powerful imagery and nostalgic music, Zack draws from the inspiration fed by the natural world. He independently released his debut EP “Caught Half Alive” in March 2021.
Jessie Gosling is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Barrie, Ontario. Drawing inspiration from the Milk Carton Kids, Linda Perhacs, and Taylor Swift, her dramatic and honest songs pull strongly from the folk genre, with pop and alternative influences. Work ethic and determination shine through in all aspects of her life - Now a member of the Canadian Musicians Co-operative, Jessie has devoted herself to developing her artist brand and identity. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in music and has just released her debut EP, Forewarning (December 2021).
