Event Details

Across North America, old masonry buildings are being retrofitted to add insulation and improve thermal performance. A science-based risk assessment approach can provide project teams with clear guidance on different retrofit strategies.

In this presentation, Randy Van Straaten will debunk what he has found to be common industry myths around interior insulation retrofits.  Drawing on field inspections and lab testing data, he will offer a different perspective and make the case for better reasoning in risk assessment.

Presenter: Randy Van Straaten
