These amazing youth don't hestitate to share their strengths and their needs, inviting questions from the audience. Participants leave the panel with a better understanding of Autism, what it might mean for another child, and powerful tips for supporting those who live with Autism.
Following the youth panel, parents step up to share their experiences raising children with Autism while trying to navigate our complex systems. These parents give an uncensored view of what family life is really like: the good, the bad and the small steps of success!
Participants leave the panel with a new understanding and appreciation for those living with Autism. And, most importantly, participants leave the evening with a sense of hope for the future.
This evening is appropriate for those living with Autism as well as parents, siblings, extended family members, teachers, Behaviour Interventionists, consultants, OTs, SLPs, PTs, early intervention therapists, Supported Child Development consultants, social workers, teachers, Education Assistants, principals, school superintenants and policy makers.
