LMME 2017: Building Community Relationships
Join us on Monday January 9th for our inaugural conference, Building Community Relationships.
This conference, with support from the Telus World of Science, aims to bring together staff and volunteers from museums, art galleries, science centers, and related organizations to examine lessons learned, discuss best practices, explore strategies to common problems, and network. The fun and interactive conference will include a keynote speaker, numerous breakout sessions, catered lunch, and an evening social.
This conference is aimed at all staff, volunteers (and those of us in-between) who work in or are interested in informal education.
We hope to see you on January 9th!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Science World is easily accessible by the skytrain, as well as by the #3, 8, and 19 buses.
There is a paid lot in front of the building and some free parking is available in the neighbourhood.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We are encouraging everyone to help us make the conference as waste free/sustainable as possible so please bring your own plate, cutlery and cup to be entered to win a prize! We also ask that participants come ready to engage with all of the other awesome participants.
* Note: To keep registration fees low, we will not be providing swag bags, pens, or notepads – please bring your own*
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We prefer if you bring an electronic copy :)
