Join us prior to the 100th Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition for a retreat on "Becoming a Confident Chemist and Future Leader”. Featuring two workshops, a keynote seminar, and panel discussions, you will learn to (1) be an effective leader and mentor and (2) identify gender bias and navigate through the workplace. This 3-day retreat will be spent with graduate students, post-docs, faculty, and industry personnel from various STEM fields. With activities both at U of T and off-site, we will host a fun and inclusive environment for discussing gender diversity issues and developing professional skills, to build close-knit communities in STEM fields. Everyone is welcome!
