Retreat on the Yoga Buddha Amitayus
Each retreat session will be guided by Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

Time: Fri Jan. 22 – 7:30 pm – Sat Jan. 23 – 5.15 pm
Cost: $25 | (40% discount for Level II Members, No charge for Level III Members. Membership fees only $50 a month. See KMCC Members for more information)
All sessions will be available online until midnight Monday, Jan. 25th. You can register up until Saturday, Jan. 23rd at 5:15 pm.
Location: KMC Canada – 631 Crawford Street, Toronto (the retreat will be live-streamed online at the times indicated below).
About the Retreat
There is nothing more precious to us than our life. If we have a long life we can complete our spiritual path in this very life; for others also, when they are sick or in danger of dying, we can engage in this special practise on their behalf. This traditional retreat is offered each year around New Year time. Everybody is welcome.
Participants will need the Prayer Booklet ‘The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus’.
Friday
7.30 – 9.00 pm: Introduction & First Session
Saturday
9.00 – 10.15 am: Second Session
11.00 am – 12.15 pm: Third Session
4.00 – 5.15 pm: Final Session
6.30 – 7.30 pm: Wishfulfilling Jewel Prayers
About the Teacher
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada and the NKT National Spiritual Director for Canada. A retired General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT-IKBU), he has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over thirty-five years and holds the lineages of his blessings in his heart. He is a very inspiring example of a pure practitioner of modern Kadampa Buddhism who relies sincerely upon his Spiritual Guide in all his actions. He is an internationally renowned teacher and English Buddhist monk who is greatly admired throughout the world for his powerful teachings, his wisdom, as well as his pure example of humility and loving-kindness. He is also well-known for his deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings and his ability to convey their profound meaning in a very clear and accessible way.
