A Guelph-based, community-engaged arts organization serving Ontario youth and young adults, Art Not Shame speaks back to systemic forces that perpetuate cycles of shame and the undermining of self-worth. Art Not Shame seeks to shape community by intentionally building supportive and transformative social spaces. The Rest & Resilience project curated a space for BIPOC youth and adults to explore rest and resilience through arts-based practices in an environment of intersectional solidarity, celebration, and support.
