Event description

Description

The Lord Lansdowne Cross-generational Dialogue brings together parents and educators of students of all ages, and students from grades 4, 5 and 6 for an evening of activities and discussions on building a school community where everyone is included and valued.

The multi-age, whole community, skill-based approach draws on the diverse perspectives and wisdom of youth and adults to explore powerful and effective responses to social problems.

The workshop will be facilitated by Community Builders, who worked with the students and teachers of Lord Lansdowne this Fall, as well as a selection of students in grades 4, 5 and 6 who have received leadership training.

It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about the methods that your children and their teachers are adopting for conflict resolution and to build a school of allies. Come meet others from your community, help us learn from each other across generations about how to make our school an even safer and more inclusive place.

While parents are welcome to come with or without their children, students in grades 4, 5 and 6 must come with their families.

Workshop begins promptly at 5:45, so please arrive on time.
