We are proud to present, Love, Lies & The Doctor’s Dilemma by Michael Parker and Susan Parker, directed by Kelly Ainsworth, onstage April 14, 15 & 16, 2023.
Little white lies create mistaken identities and chaos in this fast and funny farce.
Joan Schilling lives with the great love of her life, Sandy. In an effort to hide their relationship from her overbearing sister-in-law, the former movie star, Olivia St. Claire, she introduces him as her psychiatrist. One little white lie leads to another and a cast of characters get involved to maximize the confusion: ditzy neighbour Rachael, Joan's son Chris, who owes thugs money and Vinny "the Enforcer", a quintessential Italian mobster, who masquerades as Joan's security while trying to squeeze money out of Chris. Further complications and mayhem ensue - “The Doctor” is in. Has Joan created a monster? And what about love? Audiences will enjoy a hilarious farce with lots of laughs and a happy ending!
