The Kingston Choral Society has been part of the cultural fabric in Kingston for over 60 years, performing music of breadth and diversity. KCS searches out new music and new fields of work resulting in a wide repertoire ranging from early to contemporary music including oratorio and operatic works. Most recently, the choir performed Mozart's Requiem to a capacity crowd and will perform Handel's Messiah in December 2018.
The twinkling sky casts forth its tune:
O must I leave thy charms so soon?
I weep with joy beneath the moon.
-Daniel Elder (Ballade to the Moon)
