Join our guest presenter, Victoria Novak (Associate with Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP), as she uncovers the crucial knowledge and best practices required to successfully negotiate, draft and analyze your contracts with ease.
This event is part of a wider workshop series of Lunch & Learns, where six key topics will be discussed over monthly sessions.

Victoria Novak
Victoria Novak is an Associate with Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP, having joined the firm in 2014. Her practice focuses on all aspects of the film and television industries, as well as music, new media, book publishing, dance, and modeling matters. Prior to this position, she developed extensive experience in the arts and culture sector through roles at a Canadian copyright collective and a cultural agency of the Government of Ontario. Victoria acts for a wide variety of clients, including film, TV and new media producers, writers, directors, musicians, photographers, authors, actors, dancers, and copyright owners. Victoria has extensive experience drafting and negotiating performer agreements, E&O insurance reviews, licensing agreements, rights assignments and acquisitions, co-production agreements, management and agency agreements, copyright infringement notices, and a variety of other intellectual property related documents.
