About Denise Baril
A Prairies girl (born in Winnipeg), Denise knows what it takes to listen, learn, and pivot to reach the right audience. Her parents launched one of the first home wine and beer making supply stores in Canada (The Wine Baril) and Denise went to work at age 6 to learn the ropes. Founder of “ The Grant Sherpa” (https://www.thegrantsherpa.com/), Denise knows where the money is and where to spend your time for a better ROI. Denise has grown to serve companies across Canada in the “how to” of non dilutive funding saving you time and making you more money. Denise serves on the Advisory Board for Alberta IoT Association, a facilitator in The Fast Track Accelerator, an expert advisor with Calgary Innovates, an advisor/ mentor at Intrinsic Innovations (attracting international ventures to Canada), and an angel investor with Startup TNT.
