Event Details

Do you or a loved one live with Lyme Disease? Do you suspect that you or someone else might have Lyme Disease? Can't get treatment or diagnosed in Ontario? If you have questions or need to know how to help yourself and others, this event is for you!

Dr. Ernie Murakami, Canada's foremost medical expert on Lyme Disease, will give information and answer questions.

Directions: Take the 401 out of or towards Toronto, then take the 410 north. Choose the Sandalpark exit, turn left (west) on the bridge. Cross several traffic lights, but keep the left-hand lane. Watch for the Pizza Hut to appear on your right, then turn left into the venue parking lot just after the fire hall.

Accessibility: The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Parking: There should be enough parking to accept most if not all attendees, but if you see the number creeping up there on this page, perhaps consider carpooling!

Refreshments: Bottled water and small snacks will be available.

Donations gratefully accepted to help with Dr. Murakami's travel costs.

Arranged by the Ontario Lyme Disease Association (LDAO)

It is my birthday on the 18th ---- what a gift to have Dr. M speak to us that day! I really don't need anything material, since everyone's love and support mean the world. Maybe you would think about making a small donation to help offset Dr. M's travel costs, please? Thank you so much!

Marlene Spies

Living with Lyme Disease since 2007, saw over 2 dozen doctors and specialists in three years. Had many (mis)diagnoses before the final diagnosis. Treated in Toronto for 10 months, then dropped from treatment because the doctor was not allowed to treat Lyme Disease patients or a "disease which doesn't exist in Canada". I was infected in Ontario, Canada, for crying out loud, and so were many of the people I've met since then!
