Come join us for our Second Cooking Event!!

We have been asked to host a second event with Chef Matan Volach! This time, it will not be geared toward just singles. There will be plenty of time to mingle, while working in teams to learn some of the secrets behind the most flavorful dishes from around the world. It will be different from all past classes, exploring international flavors and developing an understand of important food flavors and how they work together. Be prepared for new techniques, tips and tricks.

The menu will include;
Course 1: Mediterranean Spiced Lentil Soup, Cumin, Fresh Citrus
Course 2: Roasted Beet, Almond, Arugula Salad, Balsamic, Chevre (EXTRA: Strawberry-Basil Vinaigrette)
Course 3: Indian Chickpeas, Heirloom Tomatoes, Tamarind, Fresh Herbs Bonus : Chocolate Chantilly, Bourbon-Macerated Cherries

About Matan:

Matan’s interest in food began at a very young age, while cooking in his parents’ kitchen. After volunteering in the kitchen of the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, he became passionate cooking. Seeing his mother suffer with Cancer, he naturally became interested in the connection between food and health. He has over 10 years of experience in the food industry and loves teaching cooking classes ( at Whole Foods and Fortinos) and gives lectures to a variety of audiences on healthy cooking.
