YFS is pleased to present a Drive-In Film Event sponsored by Made-Nous, with our friends at Yukon Queer Film Alliance, CJUC, and more!
About this event
MADE in Canada: A Summer Blockbuster Series saw the return of some of the biggest Canadian-made films to drive-ins and cine-parcs across the country. The pandemic abruptly halted Canadian film productions, impacting the jobs of thousands who work in the vibrant Canadian film production industry. The films in the Series were specifically curated to celebrate the big blockbuster productions that were brought to life by Canadian crews and/or Canadian post-production houses.
Free to attend, the Series will offer audiences an opportunity for a COVID-safe, socially distanced outing under the stars to enjoy some of their most beloved films.
This socially distanced event is taking place on the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.
Please note that this is a dry event!
Sept 11th: ARRIVAL
8:45 PM START (grounds open at 8:00 PM - please arrive coming from the south on Front Street)

"By turns inviting and opaque, Ms. Adams turns softness and quiet into heroic qualities, keeping her voice low, modulated, and using stillness to draw you near." - Manohla Dargis, New York Times
