Event description

April showers bring May flowers…and some of Vancouver’s best art as well!

This April, Vancouver Visual Art Foundation and Art! Vancouver is launching the first ever Vancouver Gallery Crawl. In this unique event, forty galleries around Vancouver will be opening their doors to the public. More than fifteen of those galleries will also have special events onsite such as open receptions with artists, live artist performances, tours and talks.

What are we doing?

We are going to explore 6 galleries located near Main Street and Art! Vancouver International Art Fair in Vancouver Convention Centre.

Where is the meeting point?

We are meeting inside the Grunt Gallery. Those who are late can contact the organizer or catch up with us in the next gallery. You can join or leave the tour anytime during the scheduled hours.

How much is the tour?

The tour is FREE, but be ready to buy your own transit ticket to get from Main street to Waterfront. To go to Art! Vancouver International Art Fair buy your ticket online or at the venue (15$ - 1 day pass).

Do I need to know anything about art?

Absolutely no! Even if you are not an artsy person, the Gallery Crawl is a great opportunity for meeting new people, exploring Vancouver and learning about modern Canadian culture.

There are many more galleries in the Lower Mainland that you can explore in a self-guided crawl. For more information about the event and the map, check the website:
