Event description

Description

Do you need work space to get your DIY projects done?

Maybe you don't want to schlepp that big planer home or you just need to make a few cuts on a table saw. You can now do that on the 2nd Monday of the month at our tool library.

Borrow the tools you need on site, without even having to drag them home! And best of all, benefit from the expertise and tips of Tool Ninjas and other Ottawa makers who will be on site to help you out.

Makers will share a workbench, with a max of two people per bench. Workbench space is limited and costs $5.00/hour, which must be reserved and paid for in advance via Eventbrite. Adults 55+ are free to use the work benches, but must register.

You may reserve for more than one hour. Painting, staining, and activities resulting in fumes are not permitted at Makerspace North.

Access to workbench space is available to Ottawa Tool Library members in good standing, and they will be asked to check in with their membership card upon arrival.

So, what will you build, refinish, repair, create, make?
