Making Meetings Matter - Becoming a Master Facilitator
Thu, 13 April 2017, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM PDT
Do you want to make your meetings more effective? Tired of not getting to decisions? Looking to improve people's level of engagement and accountability? If you answered yes to any of these questions, or you just want to get better at leading meetings, then this is the session for you!
Making Meetings Matter is a practical workshop that gives you techniques for planning your meeting, dealing with challenging behaviour during meetings, moving conversations to closure, and getting buy-in to decisions.
The facilitator, Lane Sherman, will show you a proven approach for leading effective meetings and a clear methodology for helping people disagree with each other (an absolute necessity for effective collaboration). Participants will be able to apply the tools and techniques Lane presents to their own meetings and get feedback on ways to improve their leadership.
The For Leaders Only Workshop Series has been developed specifically for people that are in leadership roles. By limiting attendance to a small number of leaders Lane is able to create a learning environement that builds on what people already know and adds to it in a way that encourages a high level of engagement and the practical, strategic application of content.
This session is part three of the series. You don't need to take the first two to attend, but it will help. See lane's full calendar at www.lanesherman.com
