About this event
A gathering for the USask community.
Sponsored by the Office of the Vice-Provost Indigenous Engagement and facilitated by the Mistatimōk Committee, this annual event is a response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action and provides an opportunity to gather and to constructively and respectfully dialogue and plan for the university environment we need and want. This year's theme is "Continuing the Conversation on Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression."
The event will feature a USask senior leaders panel as well as interactive conversations led by members of our USask community.
Program outline:
- 10 am – noon: Opening remarks and senior leaders panel: "Taking Action Together: Journeys of Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression"
- noon –1 pm: Lunch (provided)
- 1 – 4 pm: Conversation circles, Witness remarks and closing remarks
